Dear Mr Bolfik,
My deepest Sympathy to you and your family at this difficult time. I fondly remember Giselas infectious smile and practicing my German with her, when you both came to visit the Hillsdale Pastryshop. I marveled at how loving and dedicated you were and how blessed you were to have each other.
This old Native American Prayer may help ease your pain:
I give you this one thought to keep -
I am with you still - I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds...

She was the best mother a son could ask for always there when any of us needed anything. She had endless love for all her sons and loved her husband with all her heart.
Mom, we all love you so much. I will always cherish the memories of the time I had with you. I have most definitely missed you cooking up a storm of tasty food.
I love you mom. Rest in peace.

Dear Bolfik Family,
I too remember Gisela with a smile. Her wonderful love for her bird "tweetie" was a story I treasure. She told me she had trained him to back out of his cage and "poop" on the paper when she orderd "drop it tweetie"! I laughed all day at that one! Her spirit and zest for life was reflected in everything she showed interest in....especially her Bill. Bless you Bill for the love and devotion you showed for ever so long. Deepest sympathy. Dear Bolfik Family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you. Losing a loved one is never easy but having those memories get you through. As a young girl I would go with my Mom to Giselas bible study and she would have everything set up so pretty with coffee and cake. Usually her Plum Cake made with the plums from her back yard (I think!) Anyway it was always delicious!
She was also picky about where we put our purses! NEVER on the table! To this day, I NEVER put my purse on any...

My Oma...so wonderful, she always lit up the room when you would catch her smileing. I feel so blessed to be the grand daughter of such an amazing grandma. Now that I'm old enough to hear and understand all of the stories of her and the stories of me and her lets me remember how much she loved me, and how much love she had for everyone especially "her bill". I will always love her with all me heart and the memories... i will always charish
