Gisela & Kyna 2003

It is with both deep sadness and gratitude that I write. My life crossed paths with Gisela's in the early '90's,when I discovered her Psychosynthesis card at the Earthsaver's store on Magazine St. I met her and realized she was a beautiful, interesting person with both a compassionate spirit and a plethora of knowledge and insight.
Reflecting now, she was the catalyst for me to change my life and to pursue a long held dream of mine to live in San Francisco, which I did for 15...

I will miss Gisela very much. She was very helpful in the area of Dream Work and so giving of herself and time. I loved her sense of humor. Her house was a safe and comfortable place to share. I can remember the last telephone conversation that I had with her and difficult as it was to breath she had something funny to relate so our last talk ended with a hearty laugh. May she be enjoying joy on the other side until we meet again. I have not met Jody in person but I know that he helped...

It was an honor to have known Gisela whose very caring and beautiful spirit touched my heart in a very special way.

She was loyal and true and could see through the fog to what's important, and she will not be forgotten.

Gisela was a wonderful friend. She was deeply spiritual, funny and serious, adventurous and vulnerable--generous in sharing her
life and story. She loved classical European music and literature and also Billie Holiday and Tennessee Williams. She referred to him
as "Tennessee" as if he were an old friend. By the end of one of his plays she would be in tears and saying, "Such compassion..."
She loved the mystical, romantic side of New Orleans.

Gisela's psychosynthesis room was...

Kleines Giselchen:

We lack all knowledge of this parting. Death
does not deal with us. We have no reason
to show death admiration, love or hate;
his mask of feigned tragic lament gives us

a false impression. The world's stage is still
filled with roles which we play. While we worry
that our performances may not please,
death also performs, although to no applause.

But as you left us, there broke upon this stage
a glimpse of reality, shown through the...
