Not sure what to say?

I first met Gladys as a child when my Dad would shop at J & M's for his boots and Levi's. She later was one of our patient's when I worked at Dr Tremaine's office in Lamont. I always admired her as a true lady, and business woman. The past few years I grew to love her as a friend and someone I could talk and confide in. She shared a table at Glenwood Gardens with my Grandmother Edith Peddy. I could always count on her to keep me updated on the latest. I loved her smile, her silly little...

I want to thank everyone for their wonderful comments and support during this rough time. My Nana was wonderful woman and touched everyone that she knew. We will miss her unique laugh, her beautiful smile, but most of all her love she gave us. Her memories will always be with each of us.
Nana taught me so much in my life, and I will never be able to thank her enough. But most of all she taught me about family, that family comes first, and be their for them no matter what. Nana I love...

Dear Auntie Gladys, I will always have wonderful memories of visiting
you growing up. You were the sweetest and most loving aunt anyone
could have. I will always remember your beautiful colorful clothes,
pretty jewelry and lovely perfume. You were one in a million and I will
never forget you. I know you are so happy to be reunited with your
loved ones and someday we will meet again. I love you. Love your
neice, Kathy Dutra

Gladys & my Mom, Florence, sat together every day for both the noon & 6 p.m. meals. They would talk, laugh, try to sing, laugh some more & in general enjoy each others company. I would sometimes join them & we would all end up laughing. They also looked out for each other & it would always be a comfort to me that when I wasn't there that I knew Gladys would be watching out for Mom. A great lady & a good friend who will be sorely missed, but always remembered. Norm Hansen, Bakersfield

My heart and sympathies are with you at this time, Rick and family. I know what your mother meant to you. She was a wonderful woman.

My father grew up with Gladys and the
rest of the Adishian family. When my
husband LeRoy (Gladys' nephew) and I were dating (35 yrs ago),
he took me to a wedding and introduced
me to all of his family. I met Aunty
Gladys that night, and I remember telling my father the next day how
nice she was to me and how she couldn't stop talking about the days growing up with my father. She was so
warm and fuzzy...like I'd known her all
my life. God brought my...

My Auntie Gladys was & is my role model. She always gave me good advice &
showed her love so unconditionally. She will always be with me til I die & I know I will be with her again. I know I inherited my talent for art & creativity from her. God bless her & keep her with my Uncle Johnny & Grandma & Papa Adishian.
Love your niece,
Sandra

I have fond memories of the kindness both Martin and Gladys extended to the youth of Lamont. They always supported the Junior Baseball Association by sponsoring one or more teams each year. When I look back on the many kind people I knew as a youth in Lamont I always remember Martin and Gladys as some of the kindest.

God bless them,
