Dear Faith and Families,

I looked at Friday's obits today and see that my friend, Gladys, has passed. You have my sincere sympathy in your loss. I met Gladys at Montgomery Ward in November 1948, when I started working there. We remained friends when she quit and I moved away for a time. I asked if she would baby sit for my two sons, which she did. Bill, our eldest, was a bit younger than you, Faith. Gladys was married to my uncle Clifford Beeler. She was so good to me. We would talk baseball and some about the Portland TrailBlazers. She was a rock and always gave me solid, biblical input throughout the years. I will miss our phone calls. She prayed for my siblings and always asked how each of them were doing. She cared about everyone and their walk with God. I will miss her influence in my life. I'm sorry for the loss to her family. She thought so much of all of you.
