Not sure what to say?

My thoughts are with you all at this very difficult time. I know when I lost my grandparents it was horrible, they were like my parents. I am not sure if I am a relation to you or not. I am Tracy Leigh Behrend of Wadsworth, Ohio. My grandparents were Lois & Elwood Glyde of Moreland Hills. She was a Easton/ Behrend before she married Elwood. If you think that we are related please contact me at [email protected]. Again so sorry for this loss, she looks like a wonderfully warm person, i wish...

I consider myself a friend of Gladys' daughter Nancy Neylon whom I have had the pleasure of knowing for a number of years. Nancy's committment to advocacy is an ongoing tribute to the influence of Gladys. Each, in their own way, have added significantly to the improvement of countless lives, a blessing that endures forever. Lesley Ashworth, Worthington, OH

To the Frischkorn and Behrend Families:

Gary and I were Mabel's neighbors for 20 years on Kildeer. Within days of moving in, Gladys and Mabel walked over to the front door, (thru the snow) to meet and greet us. Little did we know how blessed we would be with their warmth and smiles...
They both were truly the most wise, sweet and classy women we had come into our lives. It was an honor to know both of them.
Our thoughts are with you all.

Gary and Debbie Basch

Gladys was a fun-loving member of the Hilltop Village "Club 18" chat group. Her knowledge of so many things always amazed us and her wonderful sense of humor will be missed. She always shared the ongoing activities of her family and her love of them was truly evident.
She rose with the Lord and is watching over all of us.
Barbara Fatica, Hilltop Village resident.

The Master’s Way
Not ours to know the reason why,
Unanswered is our prayer.
But ours to wait for God’s own time,
To lift the cross we bear;
Not ours to know the reason why
From loved ones we must part,
But ours to live in faith and hope,
Though bleeding to the heart;
Not ours to know the reason
Why this anguish, strife and pain,
But ours to know a crown of life
Sweet graces for us to gain.
A Cross, a bleeding heart and...

I have worked at the Ohio Domestic Violence Network with Gladys's daughter, Nancy, for over 14 years. Gladys was one of ODVN's biggest supporters. She was a loyal annual paying member and encouraged all of her friends and community colleages to support the work of ending domestic violence also. She will be missed. We thank you for sending donations our way in lieu of flowers. Gladys would be thrilled!

To Nancy and all your family, please know that all of us at ODVN are keeping...

Your unconditional love and support were always appreciated and memories of you will be cherished forever. Thank you for leading a life of inspiration that will serve as a model for our children. The Stretchbery Family of Bowling Green
