Gladys Bernstein

I was one of Mrs. Bernstein's students - Midwood '66. I was always struck by her passion, her intensity, her love of education, and her infectious smile and sparkling eyes. I've been in a lot of classrooms since then. From Bedford Avenue I went to MIT for college and then Harvard for my doctorate. I've taught graduate school for over 30 years. Yet, Mrs. Bernstein's love of learning and her commitment to her students still stand out as a model for me. May her spirit bring you comfort.
