When daughter, Cindy, attended the Easter Seals program in Sacramento, Gladys and I met for lunch once in a while at various restaurants around the city. She introduced me to Price Club, my first discount warehouse club experience, and I haven't stopped going since-although I go to one closer to Lodi-in Stockton(Costco). The obituary article in The Bee today of Gladys' passing was surprising & sad for me to read. Gladys entered into rest doing what she enjoyed:traveling and experiencing the richness of different cultures.
I considered both of you special friends, even though our paths diverged in different directions.
