COHEE, Gladys K. (Wiens) - Of The Villages, FL, age 89, died Sunday, July 4, 2010 in Tamarac, Florida. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, July 10, 2010 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend Robert Cohee officiating. Burial in Davison Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Vitas Hospice of Florida. Visitation 7-9 p.m. Thursday, 9 a.m.-12noon and 5-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Gladys was born in Saskatchewan, Canada on June 30, 1921, the daughter of the late Henry and Anna (Loewen) Wiens. Gladys grew up in the Flint area and resided in Clearwater, FL for over 30 years. She attended Calvert Park Church. Gladys loved crafts, needlepoint, crocheting and sewing. Surviving are sons, Kenneth and wife Michelle, Richard and wife Nancy and Robert and wife Cheryl; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Stanly Wiens; sister, Pearl Bohling. She was preceded in death by husband, D. Donald in 2004, son, Donald in 1986, grandson, Scot, sister, Thelma Sheathelm and brother, Mel Wiens.
