As a prior member of Zion Hill, I always admired Gladys. Her walk with Jesus, her talk, her style (especially the hair.) I would like to leave you with my expression of sympathy during this time.

To The Dixon family,
I am truly sadden by the passing of my Dear Friend Gladys. We shared so many memories that including fishing, eating crabs, playing cards, my children, camping, celebrating our birthdays which were three weeks apart, our last trip together to Los Angeles, CA (March 2007) and our many discussion about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

She rejoiced with me during the good times and offered words of encouagement during my trials.

To Gladys' family,
I am sorry for your loss. Gladys was a faithful champion for Christ. She made a powerful, positive impact on me. She was caring, generous, forgiving, and fun. I met Gladys 12 years ago through a co-worker when I moved to Rochester. I was a patron of hers off and on throughout the years. I would try different hairdressers and then eventually make my way back to Gladys. She welcomed me back with open arms each time. Over the years, Gladys and I became friends. We...

To the Dixon Family,
I can't imagine the feelings you all must share at this time with the loss of a special part of your family. Just know, that our prayers are with you all at this time. My heart was truly saddened to hear of the passing of a good friend. We shared many good childhood memories together, and I'll always remember her sweet smile. We loved her, but God loves her more. Be Blessed, and love each other daily, because tomorrow is not promised.

It was a pleasure knowing Gladys. I've been knowing her since High school and she never changed. She was truly a warm and loving person and really loved the Lord. I will miss her and her beautiful smile and up-beat personality. I am praying that the Lord will comfort the family during this time of their great loss. And may they find peace and understanding that GOD knows best and he has it all under control. Love you Gladys.
