Wow! Mrs. Eastern was my kindergarten teacher back in the late 80's. Praying for her family.....

Ms. Eastern was my kindergarten teacher at U.S. Grant Elementary back in 1990-91. It must have been truly inspiring to her certainly to know that children she taught decades ago still remember her name. She was a beautiful person and will remain eternally so.

Wow...I just now discovered of Ms. Eastern's passing...almost a year later. She was my kindergarten teacher at Grant and to this day one of the best teachers and people I've ever had to privilege to know. She will be greatly missed. My thoughts are with her family and friends.
