Not sure what to say?

Dear Mrs. Hinman and family

I had the chance to work for Bob and you for about two years until he passed this early February and I still can't believe that he is gone. I had just worked with him 2 days before he passed and it was so hard to imagine that he was gone. I learned so much from him like many others as I read these other stories. I wish I had known him longer so I could learn more, I will never forget just talking about movies for an hour with him while working in the...

We were so saddened to hear of Bob's sudden passing. Please know that you are in our thoughts & prayers. Maggie- Bob was such a great friend of our family as are you, and he will be missed terribly. God Bless you Maggie and the rest of the family. Take care.

Hinman Family,
I just wanted to say that Mr. Hinman was my favorite teacher! It has been about 25 years since I was in his 6th grade class at Woodford Elementary School. I remember that year so vividly! He was an extraordinary teacher!

I am very sorry for your loss!

Maggie and family,
John and I did not have the opportunity to know Bob but from reading all these wonderful comments we can only imagine all the lives, through teaching, family, sports and summer work, he touched. He must have been wonderful. Maggie, keep him in your daily thoughts, share his memory with all around you and remember how blessed you were to have shared your life with such a man. We are thinking of you, praying for you and want to help where ever needed. Pledge sisters -...

A select few of us were fortunate enough to grow up with each other in Copley. We all knew each other thru grade, middle and Bob being our class president in high school. We all go our own way but never do the cherished days with our childhood friends leave our minds and hearts. Our deep heartfelt sympathy to the Hinman Family. May God hold Bob gently in his hands.

For days I have been trying to find the words to describe how truly sorry I am for the loss of Mr.Hinman. I have had the priviledge of spending eighteen years of my life around Leigh Ann and her family. And I have always looked to them as family. There are no words to express how saddened I am for all of you. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I was truly saddened to hear of Mr Hinman's passing. He was my 6th grade reading teacher and always a welcome face at Loyal Oak. I hope that all the messages of fond remembrance bring some measure of strength to his family.

We are so sorry to hear of Bob' s passing. Bob was one of the best reasons for living in Copley ---and going to Loyal Oak Lake Park. My fondest memory is of the day we heard Bob say, "Is anyone missing a little boy about 2 or 3 years old? He is at the concession stand and he says his name is "SPIDERMAN". The mom was finally found--thanks again to Bob. What a loss. I hope it brings you solace to know how many warm feelings people have about this wonderful human being. We'll smile every time we...

To the Hinman family, I met Bob when I was teaching at Woodford Elementary---his sense of humor and love of his family were truly his best attributes---I am very sorry for your loss.
