Gladys Grace Gierard

When I was growing up we spent many wonderful Sunday afternoons at Aunt Grace's house with Gladys & her family, Eldon's family and Doris.

Gladys also made us feel welcome in her home & we never left without enjoying a large, wonderful meal & "the best" treats that she always had for her guests.

She never forgot our birthdays and sent us cards for every holiday. I will miss her messages, pictures of her family and dog, and our long talks on the telephone.

It was such a pleasure to work with Gladys. She always dug right in, whatever the challenge: car repairs, patents, you name it. She took a real interest in people who came to the Library. Her enjoyment of life was catching.
