Eight decades of effort to better Plano ended Sunday, June 27, 2004 with her death at age 103. Mrs. Harrington will lie in state at Ted Dickey Funeral Home on Tuesday from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm....

To all of Gladys' family, I pray God grants you peace.

Gladys was truly a remarkable & feisty lady and wonderful friend to all. She was always willing to open her home and give to others. She was the "grand dame" of Plano.

I remember her for her sense of humor, biting wit, compassion and gift of gab.

She and I were roommates for one of the TFRW Republican women's conventions several years ago and I was amazed at how unassuming, generous and thrifty...
