JAWORSKI, Gladys N. - Of Flint, age 85, died Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral service will be held at 4PM Friday, March 23, 2007 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Doug Klein officiating. Per her wishes cremation will take place following the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to America Heart Association. Visitation 2PM Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Gladys was born in Waldenburg, Arkansas on December 17, 1921, daughter of the late Marvin and Lena (Allison) Taylor. She loved to crochet, cook and loved to travel. The greatest joy in her life was her family, even though her family was large. She was able to separate and celebrate each one's accomplishments. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. Gladys let every single person she came in contact with know that they were special. Mrs. Jaworski was employed for General Motors at AC Spark Plug Division with 15 years of service. Surviving are daughter, Nancy Willey of Flint; sons, Gerald (Kay) Willey of Fenton and William Willey of Kansas; grandchildren, Geoffrey, Matthew, Paul, Gerald Lee, Nick, Kristi, Lori, Rod and William; numerous great-grandchildren; sisters, Nancy (Darwood) Cosand of Flint, Wanda (Fred) Ebel of Roscommon, Patricia (Ron) Cole of Florida and Beatrice (Bob) McDermatt of Texas; brother, Curtis (Wilma) Taylor of Flint; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; son, Timothy Willey; brothers, Dennis and Kenneth; sisters, Mildred, Joanne and Angelina; and daughter-in-law, Rhonda Willey.
