Not sure what to say?

I am Gladys’ nephew. Her brother George was my father. I visited Gladys a few years ago when I was in Michigan for business. I had not seen her in person in over 50 years. She was such an amazing, spry 100+ year old woman and she greeted me so warmly. So joyful. The Lord shown in her. Many years ago I wrote to her. She wrote back and told me many things about my father who died when I was one year old. Such a blessing for me. Then she told me something amazing. She told me she prayed for me...

Dear Family, I had the honor of helping Gladys stay in her apartment through Home Instead. She was a great joy to be with and I learned a lot of interesting thing from her. She lived a long and joyous live and I am sure you will miss her.

What a most remarkable woman Gladys was! I was privileged to be a part of her life as short a time as it was. While Heaven celebrates her arrival, May God comfort you and please know we share in your sorrow.

A treasured friend, a great testament to a good life, and a treat to all fortunate to know her. May she continue to greet all, bring a smile to everyone's face, and carry on the line-dancing tradition in her
well-deserved Heavenly home.

What a sweet, kind and faith-filled lady. She was a dear friend to my Mom, Virginia Gleason ,who died in 1997. I graduated with Karen and Kathy from Mt. Mercy. Your Mom was so proud of her family. She was a true lady with a sure sense of humor. I would have loved to see her in these last several years. May perpetual light shine upon her. Offering my sympathy to Kevin, Karen, Lynne and spouses.May perpetual light shine upon her and may she greet my Mom in her new heavenly home.
