Not sure what to say?

Gladys Nelson was the best English teacher ever. She did more to prepare me for university than anyone else. Freshman English at BYU was a breeze because of all of those weekly themes she assigned - and that she had to read and carefully correct. I hope she now knows how much I appreciate her because, unfortunately, I never told her.

Because of Gladys Nelson, I grew to love literature and English grammar and decided to major in English at BYU. I still remember a grammar question I had, and she is the only one who could explain it to my understanding. I knew she had a deep love of classical literature which was contagious. And I also knew she loved her students and was pleased with their success.

As a teacher, she couldn't be matched. As a person, she was exemplary. I loved her!
