Read MoreMy sincere condolences, I came across this Obituary totally by accident as I was scouring the internet for Virgilio Rodriguez, whom I grew up with in Bridgeport, CT, USA but haven't seen nor heard from since circa 1980. I have lost several loved ones to Cancer, most recently my 24 year old Niece, and to say "Cancer Sucks" would be an understatement.

Gladys was such a strong and yet sweet woman. Her smile could light up any room, and she was never without her best ally, Lisa, who took amazing care of her through this incredibly difficult battle. We should all be so lucky to have support and love like that to our last days here. I'll miss seeing her face, but I'll feel her in my heart. Sending love today and always.
