Not sure what to say?

No matter how long we have our mother with us, it is still hard to be without her. Margaret and family, I know that you will miss her. Gladys was such a joy to be around. When I started attending First Assembly, she would come and sit next to me during the service. It was a pleasure learning to worship from her and she gave such great hugs! How wonderful that we will get to see her again.

When Grandma Gladys came back to Fairbanks in 2001, we were privileged to move into the former Russell residence; so, her coming home to AK was instrumental in us finding a home. (We were living in the church apartment, as the parsonage was occupied.) Now, she has moved on to her "mansion in glory" and Paul and I have moved on to a new ministry assignment. We were so happy to see her last fall on her trip to SC. We will miss her sweet smiles and hugs and prayers and exhortations. We offer our...

Although our Aunt Gladys lived so far away we know that she prayed for us like we were next door. We cherish the memories of her visits to Oregon over the years. Please know that you are in our prayers. Larry and DeAnn

I will miss her hugs and her positive outlook on life. She always had some good words of encouragement for me and I will treasure those moments as well as her tenacity in communicating them. I know she is now enjoying the presence of the Lord. Bless those who are left behind and I pray you know His comfort.

It was so wonderful to have known such a special lady. Our thoughts and prayers will be with the family.

Grandma Gladys was so special to me..the hugs, the encouragement, her smile...they will always be remembered. She was such a wonderful loving, God fearing woman. I will miss her. My prayers are with the family. God just took her before us and she will be waiting at heaven's gate to welcome us home.

Margaret & Steve:
So sorry for the loss of your Mother. You are in our thoughts & prayers.

Grandma Gladys changed my life. She breathed life into my mom and really cared. She always came to our youth services and gave us hugs because she said she loved us kids. I'm happy she's finally with Jesus, because she talked about him like she longed for him. Grandma Gladys was like fairbanks's mother Theresa and I'm honored to have known her.

Only God knows how many lives have been changed and blessed by the words and hugs of this precious women. I know mine has. If I could choose how to be in my latter years in life, it would be like her. May God fill the void in all your hearts and lives. Thank you for sharing your "Mom" with the rest of us.
