We are deeply saddened to hear about the death of Miss Gladys. We have been her neighbors for more than fifty years. Miss Gladys constantly looked out for us with both watchful eyes and ears. That's how it used to be. She provided the kind of loving support that helped the neighborhood exist as a place to raise and nurture good, responsible people.
