She will be remembered with fond memories.

Gladys was a wonderful teacher. She taught me how to sew when I was at Washington Middle School. I think of her every time that I make a quilt or mend clothing. She will be missed.

I had Miss Van Atta in Jr High and still remember all that she taught me. I use to wait on her when she came into shop at Petersens on fifth ave. She will be missed.

I had Miss Van Atta for a teacher some 27 years ago and can still rememeber her to this day, I was sorry to hear of her passing.

I wanted to say that I am very sorry to hear of your loss. I took care of Gladys at Bickford Cottage a few years ago. She was a very kind and caring person and I am sure that she will be missed by all that knew her.

Your sister was one of my teachers when I went to Washington Junior High School. Am sorry to hear of her passing. May your family be comforted in this time of loss.

Gladys was very active in Women's Club and faithful in her attendance when I joined. She is remembered by many of us and missed.
