Not sure what to say?

Gladys and Arthur, Jr., were always a wonderful constant in my life. I cherished our relationship with them even before going to Samford. I always remember both of them with the utmost respect and admiration, knowing that everything they both did was always in the best of Christian values, good taste, and love for others. They were super people to know and were wonderful examples to follow in life, as champions of the gentle love of Christ as well as the integrity of living with the...

Marcia, I know this has been a hard road for you and Pat with her illness, but she was such a wonderful woman in her life before that. We will always remember her gentility, her lovely refined ways of doing and saying just the right thing to put everyone at ease. She had such a beautiful smile and soft kind words. She was truly a lovely, Christian southern belle and a wonderful example of the best one can be. May God comfort you all and give you strength.
We love you, Mary Exa and...

We honor and cherish many memories of Gladys and her beloved husband Arthur. They added so much joy and enrichment to the Allen family.

May God bless all of you, especially Marcia, at this time. My Myers family and Gladys' family were dear friends for many years. We also loved your sweet Dad. My sister, Gladys Myers, was in their wedding. I cherish many memories of both of your parents. We can rejoice knowing they are together again. Marcia, you and my daughter, Janice. were born just a month or two apart. You were in the nursery the same time. You are in our prayers during this time.

Your gracious mother and thoughtful father were such a positive influence for us and hundreds of other folks whom they befriended and mentored. We are grateful to have known them, and we shall miss them.
