Not sure what to say?

Dear Jamie and family,
We are so sad and still in a state of disbelief that your precious Mother is gone. You were a little boy playing with Leggo's when you guys moved on Colony Road. Glana and I became instant and constant friends, and were able to keep in touch after the move to Wilmington. I have such wonderful memories of Glana: shopping, playing bridge, volunteering @ school, and our great road trips. Glana and JL came to my second wedding and the wire art she gave me is something I...

Dear J.L.,
Glana was on my mind so much today that I went to my computer to see if I could do a search and find out where you guys were living now. So, I have just discovered your great loss. Jerry and I send lots of love and healing energy. I will cherish all the wonderful memories all of us spent together.

How saddened I am to have learned, just today, of your great loss. Glana was unique and memorable in all the very best ways. She was a wonderful neighbor here in Charlotte and, although she moved away many years ago, there is hardly a day that goes by that I don't remember her when I drive past the house she filled with color and laughter . . . and I smile. Clearly, she made an indelible impression on all those whose lives she touched, and I count myself fortunate to be one of them. My...

I only met Glana in an art workshop two weeks before she died. She impressed me as a vivacious, loving woman who adored her family and had an infectious enthusiasm for what she did. She was also an accomplished artist who was eager to learn more and explore new ways of thinking and expressing herself. I know you will miss her very much but have many memories to comfort you in the years ahead. My deepest sympathy in your loss. Cheryl McGraw Wilmington

No one would know me in your family, nor would any of Glana's friends, etc. I was in a few classes with Glana at Norview HS in Norfolk, Va. I wanted to send a note that Glana was a remarkably wonderful person. I never socialized with Glana or her friends. I was a badly dressed kid with holes in my socks from an economically very poor family of the" wrong side of the tracks" section of Norfolk and was of little significance in the social hierachy of Norview HS. However, Glana, who was very...

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.
