Not sure what to say?

On a whim I searched Mick's name today and was saddened to hear of His passing. A ton of memories it generated. Mick and Pat would come up to stay with their grandparents at their cottage on Lake Kabetogama in northern Minnesota every summer. I couldn't wait till they arrived. 2-3 weeks of fun fishing, boating, and running around raising cane as 8-14 year old kids do. I think the last time I saw them was about 1967 or so as I think baseball tied them up back in West Liberty. My parents...

I was sitting watching the benefit for Sandy. The Stones came on and I thought of Glen. I had a record store in Dubuque in the 70's. The Stones were the only band in the world to him. I got to play softball with him and basketball but the best thing about Glen was Glen. I never saw him after I left Iowa but he was always a man I enjoyed. Intelligent and thoughtful. Be well on your journey home.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Glen Creno was an outstanding journalist, great friend and represented his publication in a first class manner. I miss his coulmns

I'm so grateful I got to work closely with Glen, even if it was only for a year. He was such a great guy to talk with as well being a talented reporter who questioned everything. He is still greatly missed in the newsroom. I'm so sorry for your loss, Cathy.

I was saddened to learn just today of Mick's death. I attended college at the University of Dubuque with Mick and he was part of my circle of friends that brought so much life to those long ago days. He was much loved and will be greatly missed.

So long, Glen. You were one of the best friends I ever had.

I always enjoyed seeing Glen around the newsroom. He will be missed.

I was very shocked to hear of Glen's sudden death. I'm so sorry for your loss. My best to you and your family.
