I had the privilege of studying with Dr. Doran while working on my degree in anthropology at FSU. I will forever be grateful for the opportunity to hear his wisdom, research, and perspectives and am so sorry for your loss.

I had the tremendous privilege to work with and get to know Glen as both his student and as a member of the Windover crew in the 1980s. Not only was he a consumate professional and an archaeologist's archaeologist, he was a supremely nice guy with a great sense of humor. A real mensch, a fine and patient teacher, and without a doubt the best possible representative one could ask for when it came to explaining the wonders of the Windover site to the public.
