Glen was in the military when I was a young boy and he was stationed in Darmstadt, Germany. While there, he purchased a jacket for me that had a map of Germany and cities on the back. His wife Charlotte always sent greeting cards to Dorothy, my mother-in-law. After Charlotte passed away, Glen continued to send cards to Dorothy. She told me they were the nicest cards. He was thoughtful like that. Glen was a big Nebraska fan and loved all Nebraska sports, especially football. When...
