Send FlowersHAMMONDS, Glen Leon, born November 2, 1924, went to be with the Lord March 19, 2011. He is survived by his wife, Edna Ann Hammonds; his eight children, Glen Hammonds (Gisele), Brenda Taylor (William), Alvin Hammonds (Roxanne), Thomas Hammonds, William Hammonds, Harold Hammonds, Francis Hammonds, Robert Hammonds (Tera); and eight wonderful grandchildren. Mr. Hammond was a Sergeant in the United States Army. A service will be held Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at 2 p.m. at New Life Worship Center, 6741 Poplar Springs Road, Henrico, Va. 23231. The family will receive friends prior to service. Interment will be at Washington Memorial Park.
