Glen Helton

Glen built my house for me, and started work on it based on nothing more than a handshake. No contract, much less a signed one, no deposit, I hadn't even ordered the blueprints yet: just showed him what it looked like in the magazine and we agreed on a lot & a price per square foot and shook hands. Next day he had the dozer out preparing the land. They don't make people like that anymore.

Mr. Helton built our house. There are so many stories to tell about this man. I know he had to have been the hardest working man I'd ever met. We will miss him and seeing him on his tractor. My prayers are with his family.
