Glen was my friend. We shared the same birthday and we were born in the same place in the same city at the same time and I always called him my "crib Buddy". I will miss his smile and the warmth in his eyes. He was a good friend and I know that he is with our Lord and will greet his friends when the day comes. We delivered Meals on Wheels together and Had a grand time meeting people, his compassion was evident for those in need. I will miss him.

My wife and I as well as our dogs are going to miss Glen and Snickers on our walks.
I first met Glen because I was tracking down that old Honda that my wife kept seeing around town. Up until then I thought I owned the only one like it in New York. It was a bit suprising to find another one, on the next street over. I also found a really nice man who like me loved old machines and dogs.
I am sorry that He has gone so soon.

It seems like testerday Glen drove up on his motorcyle while I was having lunch,or see him hauling his trailer ( the maroon matched color of his SUV) around town. When he would see me, He would ALWAYS ask sincerely.."How you doin?"He would ask me a furnace question, and I would ask him a garage door question.Glen Hewitt was a gentle kind man. We once again lose another good giving caring person too soon.

Scott, Patti, & all of Glen's family....Glen will be terribly missed by all of us HEWITTS, both near & far. I will always remember us singing in Lew-Ports Senior choir, in 68 & 69 under Doug Monroe. It was great having 2 Hewitt's with powerful Baritone voices in the choir.
Our yearly summer trips to Buckhorn were always a blast, as well as Labor Day wknd's at family camp.
Growing up within a mile of each other we shared many fun times. From hunting pheasants in the back field, to...

It was so sad to learn of Glen's passing. After his long ordeal, I know that he is now at peace, and safely in the arms of our Lord. He was a beloved nephew, who had such a loving, gentle manner, and such a strong faith. I will treasure wonderful memories of all of our special family times together with him.

I am so sorry to learn of the passing of your father. I attended St Paul's United Methodist Church with him and have very fond memories of his time there. I remember working on an Easter parade float with him -- he was so kind and generous with his time and talent. I will always hear his voice when I hear the hymn How Great Thou Art. My prayers are with your family.
