Age 76, passed away on Saturday April 14, 2001 surrounded by his family. Glen loved fishing, bowling, golfing, tending his flowers, walking, biking, reading, and spending time with his family. Glen is survived by two sons, Mike Ellen, Kaukauna; and David Julie, Kimberly; three daughters, Christine Carl Schwobe, Sparta, WI; Mary Bill Kersten, Darboy; and Jean Bill Bobber, Darboy; 15 grandchildren, Kelley Troy DeWitt, Ben Jansen and fiancee Heather, Dan Jansen and fiancee Jill, Teshura, Michael, Katya, and Joseph Schwobe, Jeni, Abby, and Mitch Kersten, Jessica and special friend Randy, Matt, and Maria Bobber, Christina and special friend Eric and Jake Jansen; two great-grandchildren, Tanner and Mady; a sister, Shirley Lamers, Little Chute; seven sisters-in-law, Millie Jansen, Little Chute; Grace Jansen, Little Chute; Roseanne Geiger, Darboy; Martha Milton Vanden Bosch, Kaukauna; Jean Bob Siebers, Appleton; Joyce Bill Jirikowic, Lakewood, CO; Irene Wally Krueger, Kaukauna; a brother-in-law, Don Pat Van Grinsven, Kaukauna; also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Glen was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Eva, his parents, Ann and Albert, two brothers, Bob and Dick, a sister, Ruth Hinton, two brothers-in-law, Sylvan Lamers and Ron Geiger, and parents-in-law, Lorraine and John Van Grinsven. The funeral liturgy will be on Thursday April 19, 2001 at 6:00 PM at HOLY NAME CATHOLIC CHURCH 600 East Kimberly Av. with Fr. Dennis Bergsbaken officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 2:00 PM until the time we leave for church 5:45 PM. Interment will be at Holy Name Catholic Church Cemetery. A special thank you to the doctors and staff of 2 South at St. Elizabeth Hospital for their care and support. We love you and will miss you, Dad, Grandpa and Great-grandpa. We're happy you could be together again with Mom on her birthday.
