Not sure what to say?

I only met Mr Nash once. He sold me a lawnmower for $4. Later on, I bought his book, "Making A Living, Making a Life in Humboldt County." A friend who is foreign-born saw the book and his eyes got wide. Does this really tell how to make a living in Humboldt County, he asked. No, I had to tell him, it's a celebration of our past. Mr Nash will be missed.

We will miss a great historian, and I'll miss a lodge brother.

Glen and Hilma Nash, AKA as Pappy and Mammy Nash to me, were two of my most cherished friends. The three of us went on many rock trips; the only thing that stopped us was the 'inevitable' of getting too old. Glenn taught me lapidary skills and helped me purchase my lapidary equipment, way back in 1958. I shall miss them terribly! Glen and Hilma were VIP's in the history and construction of Eureka. Noreen and Bud should be most proud! Love, CM

THROUGH THE MARITIME MUSEUM, COAST GUARD AUX. AND AS A FREIND OF MY FATHERS. GLEN NASH WAS ONE OF THE AREAS MOST HONEST AND REMARKABLE MEN.HIS STORIES, I WILL NEVER FORGET.
