Not sure what to say?

Glen is one of the most special people that I've ever had the privilege to meet. I'm never going to forget this wonderful man who welcomed me with open arms when I began working at the Mission Valley YMCA in 2006.

Glen was not only a co-worker, but also a caretaker. He was my family away from family, and I will never forget the time we spent coaching a group of girls that I still refer to as "our babies." They are wonderful young women now, and I know Glen is as proud of them as I am....

Glen coached both of my daughters, Shannon and Tanya, for years at the Mission Valley Y. They give Glen much credit for guiding them to be their very best. He even encouraged me to expand my artistic endeavors when he asked me to paint a cartoon mural on the wall of the gym.
Thanks Glen for being such a generous person.

Rest in Peace Glen. You were so wonderful to my daughter when we arrived in San Diego. One of her favorite coaches. You will be missed by many.

Glen was my Gymnastics coach in the late 70's at the Mission Valley YMCA. I will always remember that time if my life with a smile.

Glen was so much more than just my gymnastics coach; he was my second dad. We spent nearly 25 hours a week at the gym, and Glen shaped our morals, character, and work ethic as much or more than our own families. I can honestly say that Glen contributed more to my success as an adult than just about anyone in my life. I owe my courage, determination, and strength of spirit to him. He always made us say, “I'll try!” and encouraged us to never say no to what seemed impossible. He was the wind...

Our beloved coach at a gymnastics reunion

Glen was such a wonderful person. His passing is such a loss to the gymnastics community in Southern California. Rest in peace Glen, you are so loved and will be greatly missed!
