Not sure what to say?

It's been well over a year and I still think of Glenda fondly; and I am sorry I won't see or speak with her again. We first met in school. When we were re-acquainted recently, we discovered we had lived only about 20 minutes apart in New Hampshire! I am glad I saw her shortly before she passed at her studio. Always truly gifted, Glenda was kind with a wonderful sense of humor, as well. My heartfelt condolences to Leo, and her family.

I will always remember Glenda fondly and sorry she is gone from the world.

I thought I “miss-Googled” and thought I was accidentally re-reading about Betty Blake. I’m so sorry I wasn’t. I meet Glenda in the stairwell of Seneca Hall over fifty years ago. She was going up and I was going down. Glenda taught me how to sing two part harmony for “You Are My Sunshine” and how to cut out a Butterick shirt pattern (the yolk was the hardest part). I am grateful to have known her and her family.

I got to know Glenda at the annual JC Carousel Days. She would paint the day away at the event. She had such a calm demeanor and would thoroughly enjoy her day in the shade painting. My deepest sympathy goes out to Leo and all of Glenda's loved ones.

I remember Glenda as a vibrant, creative & kind person when I first came to work at SUNY Broome. She was so helpful to me being new & I was sorry when she left. I will always remember Glenda fondly & send her family my heartfelt condolences.

So sorry for your loss. God bless your family.

Glenda was a truly gifted, intelligent person. I had hoped to see her SV '69 reunion weekend. My condolences to Leo and her family. I pray that God will comfort you.

I worked with Glenda at Broome in the 70's as a very young brash graphic artist, She was always kind, patient and a mentor to me. I'm glad I got to thank her a few months ago. She was an inspiration and an example of what an artist is supposed to be.

Glenda's talent, intelligence and sense of humor will always be cherished. She spoke of Leo always with so much love. It was a privilege to know her.
