Glenda Gail Carlson, 79 of Scottdale passed away at 9:20 PM Wednesday, February 4, 2026 in Independence Health System’s Frick Hospital, Mount Pleasant. Glenda was born June 18, 1946 in Rockwood, Somerset County, a daughter of the late Carl Francis and Yolanda Ruth (Dunbar) Johnson. She was married to Robert Carlson who passed away in July, 1969.


 


Glenda was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was employed for many years in the housekeeping department at the Harmon House, Mount Pleasant. Years ago, she enjoyed bowling, playing cards and bingo. She also had a love for dog pups!


 


Glenda will be sadly missed by her loving family; her five children, Sherry Hrimnock and husband Greg, Von Carlson, Lannie Carlson, Richard Teeters, and Charles Teeters; her many grandchildren; her five great grandchildren; her sister, Valerie Logue; and her two brothers, Rodney Johnson and wife Francine and Jerry Johnson. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Shane Carlson; her sister, Norma Poorbaugh; and her two brothers, Jay and Randy Johnson.
