Glenda was born on April 19, 1952 and passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2018. Glenda was a resident of North Carolina at the time of passing. A service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Jeff McCann. Yesterday I went to my cousin Claire Moody's funeral. She lived just down the road and grew up there real close to Glenda. We all rode the same bus to Elon, we all were family. I miss Glenda and will never forget all the time spent in school with her and all our local family. Bryan Pennington

I was so very sorry to hear of Glenda's illness and passing. I enjoyed seeing her at the Western High School reunion last September. Glenda always, but always had the best smile for everyone and I enjoyed growing up with her in school. I know that she will be greatly missed. My prayers are with all the family at such a sad, sad time.
