Glenda Dillahunty Vowell

Glenda was a beautiful, outgoing, very friendly woman. We were very good friends in 52-54 before I entered the Navy. She was an inspiration to everyone in our Wesley Foundation. I met Lynn at our first reunion in the early 1990s and he and Glenda kept an ongoing email correspondence with me through the years and I really miss those emails.

Glenda and I were good friends at OU for 2 years before I joined the Navy in 1954. We were reconnected in the first of 3 Wesley Foundation reunions for students of the 1950s and that is when I first met Lynn. He joined the Navy to fly 2 years after I did. We have corresponded through regular emails through the year for many years now, and through Christmas letters, and we loved keeping up with their family news. They will certainly be sorely missed. We will pray for the family.
