Not sure what to say?

Miss you Glendon, see you soon. My best Boss and best friend. Say hi to Bobbette. Love, Bill

Glendon was always a good friend. I referred to him and included his example in corporate excellence, especially concerning employees, in my doctoral dissertation. He will always be remembered by the saints in south Florida.

I had the privilege to work at John Alden for 17 years. A wonderful man who had the respect of all of us. Our deepest condolences to the family. We will always keep you in our hearts, thoughts and prayers. May peace be with you. Arturo Pallais

Glendon and Bobette are two of our greatest friends and we are so thankful for their presence in our lives. When we count our blessings we always count them twice!!
They will always hold a special place in the heart of our family & we are so happy to think of them together again,

My Mother was Bea Catoe of Galveston. She had the highest regard for Mr. Johnson and I remember her talking about the Family when they lived in Galveston when I was a youngster. Regards to all of the Johnson"s

I still remember Glendon with great affection. He was kind, generous, caring and a true friend.

TO OUR MANY DEAR FRIENDS!

So many wonderful letters! How kind of you to take the time to share such personal experiences and remembrances of Glendon—It has made a difficult transition more bearable as our family reads how Glendon touched so many lives in so many ways. You may have known him as a businessman, an attorney, a church leader, a missionary, or a cowboy, but we got to know him as the head and heart of our family.

As several of you noted, it's so good to...

I was privileged to have worked at John Alden for eight years when he was the CEO. He was a wonderful man and treated the staff just as well as the executives. He loved his cowboy boots and when he spoke to all of us, it was truly from the heart. He appreciated all of his "working bees" in his bee hive. A very generous man to those who suffered through hurricane Andrew. He was a very special person and I just loved working for him. I am sure he rests in the arms if the Lord.
