Not sure what to say?

Biked with Glenn many times. We did the Solvang Century (100 miles), Tour de Tucson (105 miles) as well as Tour de Palm Springs (100 miles). Lots of fun times and conversations. He is sorely missed.

I am shocked and gravely saddened to learn of Glenn's death. My deepest sympathy to his brother, David, and his mother. Glenn is a large part of my memories of younger days in Hazleton. I still have the ID bracelet Glenn gave me as a birthday gift in sixth grade. Rest in Peace, Glenn.

I am so pained to hear of the death of Glenn Barnes (only just now - 2 years hence).

I was a patient of Dr. Barnes. I will always be thankful for his skill and attention to my difficult situation - he made a huge difference in my life. I am sure there are so many others who were lucky to have him as their surgeon.

With sadness and gratitude,

I knew and experienced Glenn's softer side...he was a deeply sensitive man who loved and cared for people. He also loved his dog Raja with all his heart. My last memories of Glenn were of him telling me stories of the people in his life that meant a lot to him. I miss Glenn and always remember him. Catherine, San Diego, CA

Glenn was fun to be with. He loved dogs! He was a great story teller and had the ability to make you laugh. I will miss his sense of humor and his funny little giggle. I guess by now I should know enough about loss to realize you never really stop missing someone - you just learn to live around the huge gaping hole of their absence....I will miss him.

My brother Glenn was the first person that put me on defense. I was intimidated into learning many things which lead to an engineering degree. He was a terrible golfer; but he was a great brother. We are putting your name on all the Monarchs we send to Mexico. I love you and miss you. Glenn Glopp you left way too soon

Rest in Paradise Dr. Barnes.

It is with great sadness that we read about the passing of Glenn. He was a good and caring friend who helped many with his great skills and knowledge. He will be greatly missed but we know that he is at peace. He was truly a joy in our lives.
Sincerely, Judy and Joe McGreevy

Glenn and I met in 1984 at Kaiser Hospital in San Diego. I was an ortho tech and had the privilege of assisting him in surgery and becoming a close friend. We had many great times together on ski trips and socializing. When I moved to Utah we lost touch but, I will always appreciate the times we had. Glenn will always be a part of my life. My deepest sympathy for your loss.
