Not sure what to say?

You are missed! French lessons and conversation on Saturdays. Some help with your art expo at the museum in Eureka. Most importantly i missed your wise advice, your laughter, your stories, and your unique artwork.

I thought about him and call. Unable to get an answer, I just Google him to find out that he passed since last year. I am very sad and I am sending my condolences to his family especially his niece Cheryl (He loves very much)I had the pleasure to meet. I use to teach him French every Saturday, visited him a year 1/2 ago. He made me love art in a way I never did before. He will be missed.

Glenn, although you'll never read this message, know that my respect for you was enormous and I treasured our HSU, Art Department Faculty years. I miss you, my friend!

Glenn was the brilliant, talented, fun and funny cousin that everyone should be privileged to have. It was evident early on that he was to be a wonderful artist. I know how much I enjoyed and appreciated him in our family. Someday his paintings will be more admired and understood than any of us can forsee. He had a genius many years ahead of the times. I am happy I lived close enough to be a part of his life in his last 50 years as well as the first 30. I will miss him.

Glenn was my painting teacher in the 60's at HSU. One afternoon he scolded me and told me I'd never be a painter because I talked too much. He was a lovely person and absolutely right about me not ever becoming a painter! My husband, Ron Stammer, worked to help Glenn build his studio and the Willow Creek house. I have fond memories of reading in the hammock while all the work was happening. He was a charming man, an inspiring teacher and a friend.

Glenn,
You were my teacher. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I am sorry to hear of Glenn's passing but pleased to have had a chance to talk to him this pass year. He was highly loved and respected by myself and our family. I have many fond memories of Glenn as I have known him most of my life. He was always a delight and will be missed by those who were fortunate to have been in his presence. God bless you Glenn. My condolences to the family and many friends. My thoughts are with you. Love, Sue Knight Hankins

Glenn was a very dear close friend and a mentor to me. He was a great artist and a truly gifted teacher who gave a sense of purpose and personal direction to many of his students. I loved and admired him and will truly miss our conversations and the sound of his voice.
