Not sure what to say?

Glenn Driscoll, my father, made it his mission later in life, after the children were grown and he could relax a little, to roam, to keep moving, to keep discovering the world he called home, and perhaps more importantly, to spread kindness wherever he stayed. I have not done a good job of living up to his legacy, but I hope to one day.

Glenn was (is) an amazing soul. I learned through him to meet the needs of others. To listen and develop training that fit their needs and to deliver it in a facilitative way that allowed them to discover their self, soul, and heart centered purpose. Glenn, you are ever present in my thoughts I am grateful for your insights and kindness.

good words by a godo man

Mr. Driscoll was my principal at Sproul Jr. High in the early 1960s and he was also the principal who gave me my first teaching job at Janitell Jr. High in 1974. He used to talk about how everyone had a personal “board of directors “, people who had significant and everlasting influence on ones life. Well Mr. Driscoll was on my “board of directors”. He was a great man and one of the most caring educators I have ever known. The guidance he gave to me in my own educational career was...

What a wonderful mentor and kind soul. I will always appreciate his work with our most fragile kids when I was with CASA. Blessings to you all.

First of all, my sincerest heartfelt sympathies to the family. In the early 1970s I was a student at Sproul Junior High School. Glen Driscoll was part of the staff which included Phil Cozzie, Don Stanec, and Caesar Guiterres . I remember him as a soft-spoken , gentle and always kind individual. I have thought of him often throughout the decades , wondering how and where he might be. One of the last times I saw him I was in the grocery store with my young daughter, (now just shy of 39) and...

At the end, when it was clear he was not going to be able to go back home, we asked him if he was afraid. He was fully lucid. Okay, his hearing wasn't so good, but he gave that broad smile of his and said, "No, I'm not afraid. I'm curious to see what's coming next." We loved him, we love him, we worried, he set our minds at ease. His final gift.

I was so fortunate to have Mr. Driscoll as a teacher and a principal in Widefield. He was a wonderful mentor and I enjoyed learning from him. A life well lived for sure. Condolences to his family in this time when losing someone is even more difficult with so many restrictions. I hope you were able to be with him when he passed from this Earth.

I’m so sad to hear about Glenn Driscoll’s passing. He was always so kind to me in high school and later during my teacher training. He was truly an inspiration to his students and an incredible mentor to teachers like me. Rest In Peace Mr. Driscoll. God Speed!
