Not sure what to say?

I had Glenn as a math teacher in 1960 at Glenbard West. He had a mutual interest in old cars particularly Duesenbergs so I remember that more than the math. He had great enthusiasm, and we lost a good teacher when he move to admin. Very good person.

I was hired by Dr. Elliott and worked at GW for 23 years, many of them alongside Glenn. He was always gracious and an extremely hard worker. I'll never forget his penchant for doing the master schedule before there were computer programs! So many different colored pins stuck in cork board to represent all the classes. He will be missed. My condolences to his family....Barb Dill Varga

Rich and Ann -
I was very sorry to learn of Glenn's death. I first met him in 1979 when I joined the faculty at Glenbard West. He was always so upbeat and outgoing. But, most of all, there was NEVER another vice principal at West who did scheduling of classes as well as Glenn did! His math brain was made for this task - he was a superb administrator, both of organizational details and of caring for his teachers.

Glenn Flansburg was the Asst. Principal when I joined the faculty at GBW. He was a true friend, a mentor, the consumate gentleman... and he had a great sense of humor, about what went on at school, about the building itself, and about all of us trying to accomplish miracles, everyday. I am sorry for your loss, Flansburg Family!!

The Flansburg Family,

Thoughts and prayers for you at this time of sadness. We are sorry for your loss. I always looked forward to his Christmas letters and was always interested in hearing about our family.

We are sorry to learn of Glenn Flansburg's death. I met him once or twice at the office on Midwest Rd in the early 1990's and remember he was an educator and amateur genealogist. You have our sympathy.
