Glenn E. Gilley

Glenn E. Gilley Glenn Elwood Gilley, age 88, of Elkton, MD, passed away Thursday, January 8, 2015. He was born in Ashe County, NC, on April 28, 1926. Mr. Gilley retired from General Motors, Wilmington, DE, as an assembler. He was a founding member of First Baptist Church of Elkton, and enjoyed woodworking. Survivors include his daughter, Priscilla Wilkinson and husband, Rod, North East, MD; grandchildren, Crystal Lofton and Matthew Ward, both of North East, MD; great-grandchildren, Ashley, Izabella and Selena; and sister, Marie Boyd. Mr. Gilley was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Grace A. Gilley. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, January 13, 2015, at Newark Baptist Church, 6011 Telegraph Road, Elkton, MD, where visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Gilpin Manor Memorial Park, Elkton.
