Not sure what to say?

Hip and humble. And happy. That is Glenn's essence. My wife, Julie, often said that nobody looked cooler in dark sunglasses than Glenn. Once, upon overhearing this, he just rolled his eyes and dismissed it with a boyish smile.

To Margaret, Sarah, Shane and all the Griffin family we offer our condolences for your loss. I had the privilege of performing with Glenn numerous times over the last dozen years. What strikes me more than the important lessons I learned from him...

Our prayers are with you and your family

Margaret and family - Like all in this guest book, I too, am so sorry to hear of your loss. I am so thankful for the time that I was able to have with Glenn playing in the band. I consider it a gift. He was a true friend and a great example. Glenn, you will truly be missed!

Margaret and family,
How sad I was to read about Glenn. My family sends condolences and hope that you can find comfort with the wonderful memories you have experienced over the years.
I met Glenn several years ago and in talking found we had a couple of things in common. He went to high school with my wife and took stand up bass lessons from my uncle. Whenever I stopped in briefly, he was always so positive about everything in life. Although I haven't seen him since I moved, I...

I am saddened to hear of Glenn's passing and offer condolences to his family and those lives that he touched. I am so grateful to have gotten to know Glenn and to have so many good memories from the many gigs we played together and the time we spent teaching in neighboring rooms at Al Weight and WMCA the past few years. Glenn was always willing to help and always had a peaceful spirit about him, even when situations could be stressful. I'll always remember the good attitude Glenn had and...

Our deepest sympathy to Margaret and your family for your loss. Glenn was a good and kind man. I was blessed to have played gigs with him over the years. He will be missed. Other than great father or family man, the best compliment I can think to give Glenn is to say he was a damn good sideman and a great guy to work a gig with.

To the Griffin Family,
We the Smith family wish to offer our heartfelt and sincere condolensces for the great loss that you have suffered. We always will remember Glenn as a friend and brother beloved. He always met my mother at the door with a smile when we were going to travel to a Muscolino gig somewhere. Our bond was sealed with each other on one perilous trip to Park City at the Riverhorse on New Year's Eve. It was my second year in the band. We were driving blind in a blizzard...

Dear Margaret, Sarah and Friends,
The news of Glen's passing is very saddening to me. I was fortunate to know Glen and play music with him in our youth. He was a great musician and a good friend to me during our college years. I am proud to say that I knew Glen Griffin and my life was better for the acquaintance. I grieve for Margaret, Sarah, his family and friends. My condolences to you all. He will be missed.

God's Speed,

Greg Starley

Margaret, Sara and Family- I am so sorry to hear of your loss and this tragedy. I want you to know that Glenn is one of the nicest and kindest people that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and working with. I walk ever day with his lessons of patience, kindness, loyalty and warmth. It came to him so naturally. I only wished that I could grow up and be like that. He's the bass zen master of kindness!!! Glenn was a shining example of compassion and humanism at its finest. He always made...
