Glenn was kind to everyone. His empathy led to funny things like finding the perfect cake/candles for a kid with an upcoming birthday, or literally giving away the shoes on his feet to someone who didn't have any. He was always a friend, always supportive and encouraging, and easy to talk to. When we worked together, we would chat about everything from food to astronomy, or just debriefing after a busy day. Even after I left, he often touched base with an update on the community we both loved...
