AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Charles D. Mason, 62, beloved husband of So Yoon Mason, passed away Monday, June 22, 2009 at his residence. Chuck was a Retired Command Sergeant Major of the United States Army after 24 years of service. He was a member of the CSRA Road Angels Car Club and Non-Commissioned Officers Association. Mr. Mason was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Robert Mason. Mr. Mason is survived by his wife, So Yoon Mason, one daughter, Jeanice Pankonien, two granddaughters, Kaylee and Kendra Pankonien and one grandson, Andrew Mason. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at Elliott Sons Columbia Road Chapel with Dr. Jake Malone officiating. The family received friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 at the funeral home.

Our class of W.W. Samuell "65" high school is saddened to learn of Charles' passing . I will place a notification in our newsletter for those in the class who knew him as I am the one who emails the class about news on our classmembers . While I personally did not know Charles , our class joins in sharing your loss and prays God gives Charles' family and friends much comfort .

To the entire family. We are saddened to hear of Chuck's passing. Chuck was a very big part of the CSRA ROAD ANGELS CAR CLUB.
