Not sure what to say?

I had my 71st birthday yesterday on March 20th. Thank you Dr. McBride for bringing me into the world. Gary Moore

Dr. McBride delivered me on March 20th 1953.
He was my doctor and helped me and my mom and especially after my dad died when I was 9.
I am glad I found this site.
He was a great man

I knew Dr. McBride and Mrs. McBride through First Presbyterian in Tacoma. He was a very kind man and bold in his faith! He was an encouragement to me and others! Praise God that we know he is at home with the Lord!

Barbara - My brother peruses the Trib's obits and found your dad's notice so sent it on to me. I'm Linda (Breithaupt) Casey (Geiger School). From the entries it looks like they're a lot of good memories of your dad and it's these memories that help sustain you and your sisters at this time. My sympathy to all of you.

Dr. McBride was the doctor who delivered me, with my mom's help of course in 1947. He continued to be my childhood doc as well. It's not an exaggeration to say he's the reason I'm here. My mom years later would point with pride as we drove past Dr. McBride's home on 72d Street. Now after 64 years, I still know what house was his. God's peace. Thanks, Dr. McBride.

My feelings for Dr. Glenn McBride echo those of many other patients. He delivered my sister and brother then both my children and we were patients until he retired, too soon for me.

He always had time to talk to me about books and often had one to recommend. We shared the miseries of migraines and exchanged stories. My kids loved him and I missed him greatly when he retired. I also had trouble finding a replacement and never have met a doctor with his compassion and caring....

Dr. Glenn McBride delivered me into this world on April 17, 1960 (Easter Sunday) at Tacoma General Hospital. He was an outstanding doctor and a very caring person. He always made his patients feel very comfortable and had great advice. My mother even named me after him.
Thanks for the care and memories......Steven Glenn Christin

With Dr. McBride's passing, Tacoma lost a true gentleman and dedicated doctor.

What a great loss to so many people. He delivered four dear babies
for us. He took care of our whole family and we have many loving, stories and some funny ones to remember him by. He never made
fun of me when we took a child to him in an emergency to find it was
just a worried parent. Our love and sympathy to you all. The Peters Family
