Dear Mitchell Family,

It was with sadness that I heard the news from my mother that your beloved Glenn has moved on to the great concert hall/golf course in the hereafter. But it was with joy that I read about his long life well-lived and the large wonderful family he raised. And all these years I had not known he was a fellow St. John's Cadet!

Dear Mitchell Family,

I have fond memories of one summer (1961 or 1962, I believe), when I spent about a month in the family cottage at Thompson's Point helping out with household chores and babysitting some evenings for Christopher (Muffin, was it?) and Lorraine's two young boys (one was Greg, I think). I learned a lot from your family - not only to appreciate good music, but how a large, loving family works together and plays together. I took my first ever boat ride in the aluminum...

Mr.Glenn A.Mitchell , A kindly and very gifted gentleman. It a pleasure to have known Mr. Mitchell.My father , Tad Cheeseman ,loved him dearly and ALWAYS spoke highly of him as did everyone else who knew him. My father will be overjoyed to see Glenn coming through the Pearly Gates of Heaven . I suppose playing golf for eternity ould suit both these gentlemen . Rest In Peace ,Glenn .
