Glenn Emery Ronk

Glenn Emery Ronk of Wilton, CT passed away on Saturday, January 15, 1005 at Norwalk Hospital, Norwalk. Born September 7, 1925 in Sierra Madre, CA, he was the son of the late Emery Cline and Sadie Madeline Curtis Ronk. He was 79.

Mr. Ronk graduated from the University of Southern California in 1950 with a bachelor of science degree. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II. He was executive vice president of General Signal in Stamford from 1983 to 1990 and president of Sola Electric in Elk Grove Village, IL from 1970 to 1983.

He was a member of the Electronics Industry Association from 1978 to 1988 and served as president in 1985. He was also president of the University of Southern California Midwest Alumni Club from 1972 to 1975.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Lee Ronk of Wilton, CT, four children, Connie Panebianco of Asbury Park, NJ; Edward Ronk of Westfield, NJ; Martin Ronk of Redding, CT and William Ronk of Wilton; and 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
