Not sure what to say?

Dorothy, Mark, and Kerry
I was sorry to hear of Glenn's passing. I remember him as a role model and as the man that gave me my first non-lawn care job...helping to build your house during the summer of 1965.
We had moved from Lerwick to the Bay area, but I drove back to Sac every summer weekend before starting school (Cal).
My thoughts are with you.

Mr. Glenn Sawyer is vividly etched in my memory. He had a presence, an aura, about him, that was rooted in the foundation he had developed for DWR's widely known reputation for land and water use investigatory excellence.

Not only did I get to meet with him now and then in Sacramento in my early years at DWR, but I was fortunate to spend a number of days with him on tours to show him the results of Southern District's land use surveys in the early to mid-1980s, and additionally when...

I was saddened to hear of Glenn's passing. My deepest sympathies to Dorothy and Glenn's family. I worked with Glenn at DWR and would always look to him for leadership and guidance on the many projects we worked on together.

This was a great loss for everyone. Lossing Charlie and now Glenn was a big loss for the Land and Water Use Scientists. Had fond memories of the house parties and being mentored by Glenn. Luv Tito Cervantes

Dear Dorothy,Mark, and Kerry.
I am so sorry to hear I about Glenn's passing. Like my sister Nancy, I have many wonderful memories of all of you when we all lived on Lerwick Road. Such a different time! I remember when Glen built your home on Gregory Way. He had so many wonderful talents and accomplishments. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Glenn's Family and friends,
I too am saddened at our loss of Glenn. We worked for many years on common State/Federal water issues. I shared his efforts in Boy Scouting.
May we share our fond memories of Glenn forever.

I was so saddened to hear of Glen's passing.. I have fond memories of growing up in Sacramento in the 50's and living on Lerwick Rd, where I often babysat for the Dorothy and Glen. What a wonderful life Glen led!!! My deepest thoughts are with all of the Sawyer family. Nancy Shelley Kuska (Salinas, CA)
