Not sure what to say?

Schoonover family:

I am shocked to learn of Glenn's death, only receiving the news now in July. A great guy. So pleasant and personable. He was terrific to work with our capital project c. 2005. I feel like I have lost a friend. Pastor Peter W. Marty, Davenport, IA

I wish my greatest condolences to Glenn's family. I just found out today and was greatly saddenend. He always had a smile on his face. We shared a love for animals and food, and both of these he had TONS of expert advice that I just loved. He always had great stories to tell me about his sons and their families. He loved you all so much and I'm glad I was able to be graced with his presence. His smile and love will go on forever. God bless you.

Friends of Glenn, Shawn and Ray in Brooklyn Park wish to express our condolences to Glenn's family! I (Shawn) have know him for 20 some years and he'll be greatly missed. Wishing you'r family best wishes for better days.

When Glenn took on the Sr Pastor role at Messiah Lutheran in Fargo, N.D. it was exciting in many ways. I will mention two in particular. Messiah had a Live Televised service each Sunday. Hank was a wonderful friend to my son Mike. He will be missed. Thank you Hank for being Mike's friend! - Karen (California)

Our sympathy to the Schoonover family. I was President of the Congregation and worked closely with him at Messiah in Fargo. He confirmed two of our children and our family appreciated his leadership. His sermons were always inspiring. Don and Evelyn Ommodt, Fargo, ND

Our sympathy to the Schoonover family. Glenn was pastor at Messiah in Fargo and confirmed two of our children. I remember baby sitting for William and Paul when they were very young and they loved my scooter. We surround with prayers and love. Marion and LaVerne Sansted

I am deeply saddened to hear of Glenn's passing. 30 years ago he officated my wedding with such grace and dignity I can still hear and see him as I remember that day. 9 years later we were honored to have him baptize our son. He was so very kind and gracious and will be dearly missed. Prayers and deepest sympathy to all his family during this very difficult time.

To Glenn's family,

I worked with Glenn when I was a pastor in the Nebraska Synod, and he was a member with me at St. Mark's Episcopal Cathedral in Minneapolis. I remember his great love of Jesus and passion for the Gospel. He will be missed.

Let light perpetual shine upon him, O Lord.
