So sorry for your loss. But I have found you. Now living in California. So I guess you probably sold your condo at Wintergreen. I'm still working there. It will be 42 years in December. Glenn was such a great guy, working hard even in his last few years, as we knew him as a cherished neighbor out here with us in California - often hanging out over Friday evening drinks, it was always an update on Ukraine, Russia, peace, dinners with nuclear arms folks, or his continual efforts to speak, write and think about the world, even after nearly 70 years of service. Glenn Schweitzer was, first of all, a mensch. Glenn's later career and mine intersected at many points. A few months before he died, he lamented that there were only the "two of us," veterans of managing US-Soviet (and others, as mentioned in the obituary), who understood the deep historical and cultural roots of science in these countries and who could interpret current events in that sphere with some sophistication.
